Cars are getting bigger irrespective of the size of the family. Single people with an active social life who like to go on road trips with friends find the need for more versatile cars with foldable seats to create more trunk space. By preferring a 7 seater MPV Malaysia’s consumer is on the right track. Be it a single person who prefers to invite extended family, friends, or BFFs for a weekend trip, a double income no kids couple with multiple dogs, or a family with two kids who like inviting their friends to hang around with their family, everyone agrees that a 7 seater utilitarian car is purposeful and gets more things done than one can imagine. Gathering memories for simple occasions like taking all the cousins out for an ice cream treat is more fun in a big MPV.

Some feel the third row is practically uninhabitable with less legroom. However, if one learns to adjust the second-row seats by sliding them to the front, then enough room can be created for the rear-row passengers. Families with more than one pet always swear by the flexibility of using a large MPV by folding the seats and creating bed space for their fur babies to enjoy a comfortable ride. Here are some 7-seater MPVs that are popular in Malaysia:

  • Perodua Alza

A spacious car with ample legroom and flexibility for different usages, the Perodua Alza is Malaysia’s indigenous car and the most preferred one in this segment. It comes with a 360-degree panoramic view monitor that helps the driver with blind spots and easy reversal from a tight parking spot. The leather steering wheel with different controls adds an uber-cool touch to the interiors that have been designed to match the local taste while maintaining convenience for the driver. It comes in three different variants and is one of the most sold cars in this category.

  • Mitsubishi Xpander

With fuel efficiency measured at an average of 8.9L/100 Km, Xpander is a fuel-efficient MPV. The size and performance of the car are a ruse to the car’s economy and is a great vehicle for frequent travelers who prefer road trips. The vehicle’s design draws inspiration from crossover SUVs, providing reliable support across all terrains. The Mitsubishi brand stands out in its engineering design elements and offers a generous warranty on the Xpander. It comes with touchscreen panels and controls-mounted steering for easy driving experience.

  • Proton Exora

Priced competitively, this is a steal buy as it offers more features in exchange for the bargain. It comes with a 7-inch touchscreen panel that is powered by a clear voice assistant. The anti-lock braking system, rear parking sensors, and multiple airbags offer all the safety features that can be matched for the price.

Conclusion:

Malaysians prefer road trips over other means of commuting to travel within the country. The beautiful countryside can be explored easily if the right vehicle is selected. So take some time to zero down your favorite pick and enjoy a safe ride.
