Indian desserts are renowned for their rich, indulgent tastes that linger on the palate. Indian sweets have long been a favorite, from the traditional gulab jamun to the flavorful rasgulla. We’ll introduce you to two mouth-watering traditional Indian sweet treats – Rabdi and Mango kulfi in this article. You can also try both delights at your home too. To know how you can cook them, keep reading to know more about them here.

  • Rabdi

Indian desserts like rabdi are traditionally produced by thickening milk to creamy smoothness. It is a well-liked delicacy that is frequently offered at festive events like weddings and festivals. In most cases, rabdi is served cold and is adorned with chopped nuts, saffron, and rose petals. Here’s how to succeed:

Ingredients:

  • 1 liter of Nestlé a+ Nourish Milk
  • 1 tin – Nestlé MILKMAID
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder
  • A handful of chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios, and cashews)
  • A pinch of saffron

Instructions:

– Add 1 liter of Nestlé a+ Nourish Milk to a heavy-bottomed pan that has been heated over medium heat.

– After the milk has boiled, reduce the heat to medium-low. You can add Nestlé MILKMAID here in the boiled milk for an extra yummy taste.

– The milk should be continually stirred until it is reduced to half its original volume.

– Add a teaspoon of saffron, half cup of sugar, and cardamom powder. Until the sugar melts, vigorously stir.

– Cook the mixture for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until it thickens and the rabdi is done.

– Serve the rabdi cold and top it with saffron and chopped nuts.

  • Mango Kulfi Recipe

Everyone enjoys the classic Indian dessert mango kulfi. Using mango puree, Nestlé MILKMAID, and cream, it is a frozen delicacy. This mango kulfi recipe dessert will definitely cool you off on a hot summer day. Here’s how to succeed:

– Stirring regularly, let the mixture simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until it thickens and shrinks to half its original size.

– Mix thoroughly after adding 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder.

– Wait until the mixture reaches room temperature.
