Many people want to attend a concert or a music festival of their favorite singers on their bucket list.

Concerts are a great way to escape from the mundaneness of life and then and to just flow with your favourite genre of music or artist. Although concerts are super fun, they can be pretty exhausting so you must be prepared to be comfy at all times.

For this, the first thing that you should keep in mind is to wear flat shoes whether you are standing, dancing or sitting, and let’s be real, even if it is a sitting concert, you won’t be sitting for too long.

Concerts can sometimes be overwhelming, from buying tickets to the moment of entering the venue and, along the way, deciding what to wear. So, to save you time, here is a guide for outfit ideas to wear at your next big concert.

Guide Based on Genre

Music genres vary, and so do concerts, say Icy Tales music experts. Here are a few popular ones Icy Tales says are common, according to a survey they did.

1.   Pop Concert

Pop concerts require you to be at your comfiest. Throw on some basic tee, jeans, and sneakers, and you are good to go. Additionally, you can wear a band t-shirt and colourful sneakers or a quirky bag for a pop of color.

2.   Country / Indie Concert

Leathers, denim, and boho elements are requirements for these types of concerts. But if you don’t like any of them, you can also go for prints. Wear a denim jacket with embroidery work on it, and add leather accessories like leather boots, bags, or cowboy hats, for the boho element, wear trendy beadwork or shell jewelry. Or wear a printed shirt with boot-cut jeans for a retro look.

3.   Rap Concert

Street style is the bare minimum for a rap concert. Opt for baggy cargo pants with vintage t-shirts, or t-shirts with cool patterns, a bright-coloured over-the-shoulder over-the-shoulder fanny bag, chunky sneakers, and silver jewelry.

4.   Rock / Metal Concert

Black is the go-to color for these types of concerts. However, if you want to stand out from the crowd, you can include other dark colors like olive green, dark brown, and navy blue. Go for an edgy look with a see-through mesh top under a compulsory leather jacket, some combat boots, colored hair extensions, and metal jewelry.

Guide Based on Season

1.   Summer Concert

On a warm summer concert, go for bright tropical printed co-ord sets, a sun hat, and flat sandals or gladiators to keep your feet cool. Tie up your hair in a messy bun, and a fun tote bag to keep all your summer essentials.

2.   Winter Concerts

Dark warm colors like maroon, brown, beige, and navy blue are sure to keep you warm on cold concert nights. Get yourself a nice trench coat, a high-neck sweater, some plaid trousers, and Doc Martens to keep you warm and stylish at the concert.

3.   Spring Concerts

Spring calls for pastel colors, go for floral-printed tops or bottoms, delicate jewelry, and pretty sandals.

4.   Autumn Concerts

Autums are great for wearing colors like orange, mustard yellow, rust, and other similar colors. You can also include a denim jacket or thin shrug as part of your outfit since it can be quite cold at night.

Ending Note

Now, this is a great guide for any type of concert that you are attending but you can also make tweaks anywhere you want. This guide will also save you a ton of time from deciding what to wear at a concert, so you can save your energy to cheer on your favorite artist. However, always prioritize your comfort over style, and don’t forget to enjoy.
